There's a really good sale on Qatar Airways right now to the following cities...

Prices are roundtrip and after tax.

The one to Bangkok, Thailand is the greatest deal in my opinion. The next cheapest airline is Fin Air at $1340 after tax, so it's a true 25% discount off the next cheapest flights. Sub-$1000 flights to Bangkok are definitely quite rare.
The sale prices are for travel between: 1st September - 30th November 2011 and the sale ends July 6th.

On their sale page they mention flights to Karachi, Pakistan for $999 but I didn't see any. That would definitely be a great deal, as it's rare to see them below $1500.
