There's a really good sale on Qatar Airways right now to the following cities...
Bangkok $ 999
Beirut $ 928
Damascus $ 999
Dubai $ 928
Mumbai $ 999
Prices are roundtrip and after tax.
^ I doubt you'll have this much leg room in economy. Still, Qatar Airways is one of the nicest airlines in the world! It's officially ranked 5 stars by SkyTrax...

The one to Bangkok, Thailand is the greatest deal in my opinion. The next cheapest airline is Fin Air at $1340 after tax, so it's a true 25% discount off the next cheapest flights. Sub-$1000 flights to Bangkok are definitely quite rare.
The sale prices are for travel between: 1st September - 30th November 2011 and the sale ends July 6th.

On their sale page they mention flights to Karachi, Pakistan for $999 but I didn't see any. That would definitely be a great deal, as it's rare to see them below $1500.
