On Thursday, September 14th, Air China is going to be having yet another flash sale to Asia, this time from Montreal to Yangon, Myanmar for $499 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
Air China's flights have a stopover in Beijing, China - sometimes they are long stopovers.
Air China's flash sales can sometimes be disappointing, especially from Montreal. Sometimes they don't put many dates on sale.
NOTE: Myanmar is currently undergoing a crisis involving violence against Rohingya Muslims. Educate yourself on the situation before considering travel.
Also note: The maximum allowable stay for a Myanmar tourist visa is 28 days (thanks Gabrielle for pointing that out)
Availability for travel
According to the Air China promo page...
Travel period:
September 15 to December 5, 2017;
January 7 to February 10, 2018;
February 20 to April 30, 2018
Blackout dates for outbound flights: October 5 to 15, 2017
Blackout dates for inbound flights: September 22 to October 3, 2017
Maximum stay: 3 months
From past experience, Air China's defined travel periods for their flash sales can be misleading. Sometimes they have $499 flights available within the date ranges they mention. Sometimes they don't. You really need to just try different dates and see.
How to find and book these flights
1. On the night of Thursday, September 14th go to the following Air China flash sale page...

NOTE: Air China usually releases theses fares around 3 AM EST. In other words, you would need to stay up really late on Thursday September 14th (or get up really early the morning of Friday September 14th, depending on how you want to think of it).
2. Scroll down to the bottom, where the 'Flight Search' box can be found.
3. Search for a flight from Montreal to Yangon, Myanmar (RGN)
TIP: The last time there was a similar sale, some people had trouble using their credit card with the default payment option on Air China's website.
The Air China website also allows you to choose Paypal as the credit card processor, and that seemed to work better. A Paypal account is not required.
You can also try registering for an account on the Air China website ahead of time. It might make things faster/easier when it comes time to book.

Update 9/14 - I'm noticing that the Air China flash sale page for this deal is gone now.

Update 9/15 @ 1:52 AM EST - These fares are starting to show up on Kayak, so it looks like Air China does plan to actually offer them tonight. They can't be booked just yet, but you can see which dates are probably going to be available...
As is often the case with Air China's flash sales from Montreal, the number of dates are quite limited.
So these may disappear pretty quick once they become available for booking (usually around 3 AM EST).
1. Try the following Kayak search...

2. Click on the date input box at the top of the page, and try different dates.
