The flight from Montreal to Tokyo, Japan is a non-stop flight. The flight home from Taipei, Taiwan has one stop in Vancouver.
The flight between Tokyo and Taipei is not included, but it's pretty common to find one way flights between Tokyo and Taipei for $100-$150 CAD.
One way flights from Osaka to Taipei are also usually around $100-$150 CAD.
So, you could fly from Montreal to Tokyo, travel around Japan and make your way to Osaka, and then fly to Taipei for your flight home.
