Air Canada is showing non-stop flights from Montreal to Tokyo, Japan for $758 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
Overall, this is not as exciting as the Japan prices that showed up a few months ago.
But there are a few interesting things here:
1. These are non-stop flights.
2. There are a couple of dates around Christmas and New Year's available (the date range where price drops rarely ever happen).
The flights are in and out of Tokyo's Narita Airport (NRT) - the one that's further from downtown Tokyo.
Tokyo is a Shinto Buddhist nation, but they *love* to create incredible Christmas light displays.
You can also find 1-stop flights from Montreal to Osaka / Kyoto, Japan for a similar price, in late August, September, and October.
