Thailand

United Airlines and All Nippon Airways (ANA) have dropped the price of their flights from Montreal to Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam down to between $595 and $648 CAD roundtrip including taxes!

Availability for travel

January, February, March, April, May 2018

How to find and book this deal

These can take some digging to find.

1. Try starting with a Google Flights search like this one:

Google Flights: Montreal to Bangkok, Thailand

Google Flights: Montreal to Manila, Philippines

Google Flights: Montreal to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations.

2. Go to Flighthub

Search for a flight from Montreal to...

Bangkok, Thailand (BKK)
or
Manila, Philippines (MNL)
or
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (SGN)

Try the same dates you found with Google Flights.

NOTE: Not every date combination from Google Flights seems to work. You may need to try a few different dates to find these.

Once your Flighthub search completes, you can click on 'Flexible Dates' to see if there are any other dates around the same time for a similar price.

Try looking for flights that are operated by ANA (All Nippon Airways) - a great airline!

You can also turn some of these flights into 2-in-1 trips and visit both Tokyo, Japan and a city in SE Asia for $671 CAD roundtrip. A pretty great price to visit both Japan and SE Asia.

1. First, you may want to try finding a cheap roundtrip flight using the Google Flights link above.

2. Go to Flighthub

Click on 'Multi City'

3. Search for a flight like this one:

Montreal (YUL) to Tokyo, Japan (TYO)
Tokyo, Japan (TYO) to [Bangkok or Manila or Ho Chi Minh City]
[Bangkok or Manila or Ho Chi Minh City] to Montreal (YUL)

For the first and third flights, try using the regular roundtrip dates you found on Google Flights.

Then play around with the middle date, to give yourself more or less time in Tokyo vs SE Asia.

This doesn't work with all dates, but I have seen it.

Here's May 8 to May 15 to May 22 using Bangkok for example...

There are also open jaw flights with All Nippon Airways where you fly into Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam but home from Manila, Philippines for just $469 CAD including taxes

A one way flight from Ho Chi Minh to Manila generally costs around $80 to $100 CAD on AirAsia.
