Icelandair is showing some cheap flights from Montreal to Paris, France or Amsterdam, Netherlands in late May and most of June 2016 for $519 to $598 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

How to find and book this deal
1. Go to FlightHub.com
2. Search for a flight from Montreal to Paris, France (PAR) or Amsterdam, Netherlands (AMS)
Note: Use the code PAR, to search both Paris airports at once. Sometimes the cheap flights involve flying into one Paris airport, and out of another.
3. Use one of the following date combinations:
(for longer trips, you can try mixing and matching the departure and return dates from the list below)
May 23, 24, or 26 to May 29, June 2, 3, 4
June 1 or 2 to June 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, or 17
June 4 to June 13, 14, 16, or 20
June 6, 7, or 8 to June 14, 16, or 20
June 9 to June 16, 17, 20, or 21
June 13 to June 20 or 21
June 18 to June 27, 29, or 30
June 20 or 21 to June 27, 28, 29 or 30
NOTE: Certain dates involve longer layovers in Iceland. Other dates have just short layover in Iceland. If you find a date with a long layover, you may want to try the previous date or the next date.

Or, you can fly from Montreal to Paris or Amsterdam (spend time there), and then fly to Iceland (spend time there) and fly home to Montreal - all for just $534 to $624 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
1. Go to the Icelandair website
2. Select 'Stopover/Return from another city'
3. Click on 'Add Flight'
4. Search for a flight like this:
Montreal (YUL) to Paris (PAR) or Amsterdam (AMS)
Paris (PAR) or Amsterdam (AMS) to Reykjavik, Iceland (KEF)
Reykjavik, Iceland (KEF) to Montreal
(again, be sure to use PAR, to search all Paris airports)
5. As for the dates to use, try:
May 23 to May 30 to June 6
May 31 to June 7 to June 13
June 6 to June 13 to June 20
June 13 to June 20 to June 27

6. On the next page, select a price range beside 'Select price range'
Prices will vary, depending on the dates and destination.
There are likely other date combinations that will work out to a low price. The key is to use start and end dates that are similar to the 'regular roundtrip' dates I mentioned in the first half of this post. Experiment and see what's available.

You can also try substituting other cities besides Amsterdam and Paris. Some examples...

Copenhagen, Denmark - $595
Or you can get really fancy, and say, fly into one European city (London), but out of another city (Paris), and still get the free stopover in Iceland, all for a total price of $536 CAD.
