Air China has dropped the price of their flights from Montreal to Havana, Cuba down to $312 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are non-stop.
It's a lot easier to book your own accommodations in Cuba now that Airbnb works in Cuba (see below).
The U.S. based airlines have recently started flying to Cuba, which could dramatically change the look and feel of Cuba in the years to come.

In the past, it's been somewhat difficult for independent travellers to pre-book their accommodations in Cuba (usually using casa particulars).
But, Airbnb now seems to work in Cuba for Canadians.
The average price of your own apartment in Havana (not shared) through Airbnb is $111 CAD/night for 2 people.
