Another potentially terrible Air China sale: Montreal to Thailand or Vietnam - $599 CAD roundtrip including taxes

On Friday, September 14th, Air China is *allegedly* going to be having another flash sale, this time from Montreal to the following destinations for $599 CAD roundtrip including taxes:
Bangkok, Thailand
Hanoi, Vietnam
And from Montreal to the following destinations for $699 CAD roundtrip:
Phuket, Thailand
Tokyo, Japan
Yangon, Myanmar
Singapore
I say allegedly, because Air China's flash sales have not really been reliable, especially in the last 4 or 5 months. Sometimes, the sale prices show up on their website but aren't actually bookable.
The number of available dates also varies a lot with their sales. Sometimes there are very, very few dates available, or they are only available for really long trips (3+ weeks) - to the point where marketing it as a flash sale is outright deception.
Their last few flash sales have mainly been a waste of time.
I would also only consider these a good deal if the flights have relatively good layover times in Beijing. Some Air China flights have really long overnight layovers. It remains to be seen which flights they drop in price.
Availability for travel
September, October, November, early December 2018
January, February, March, April 2019
^^^ don't count on most of these date ranges to actually be available. Air China claimed a similar date range of availability for their last flash sale, but there were really only cheap flights available in November and early December.
How to find and book these flights
1. On the night of Thursday, September 13th go to the following Air China flash sale page...

NOTE: Air China usually releases theses fares around 3:00 AM EST. In other words, you would need to stay up really late on the night of Thursday September 13th, or get up really early on Friday September 14th.
2. Scroll down to the bottom, where the 'Flight Search' box can be found.
3. Search for a flight from Montreal (YUL) to one of the destinations listed above.
- Use the flexible dates feature to try and find the $599 roundtrip dates.
TIP: With similar flash sales, some people have had trouble using their credit card with the default payment option on Air China's website.
The Air China website also allows you to choose Paypal as the credit card processor, and that seemed to work better. A Paypal account is not required.
You can also try registering for an account on the Air China website ahead of time. It might make things faster/easier when it comes time to book.

Update 9/14 - The Air China 'flash sale' is now live. $599 roundtrip turned out to be a lie. There are a few (emphasis on few) working dates out there for $659 CAD roundtrip, but on the whole, I'd say this one turned out to be another example of Air China's false advertising from Montreal.
Update 9/15 - There are now some flights from Montreal to Bangkok, Thailand for $599 CAD roundtrip

And I got a 658$ price!
