Aeromexico has dropped the price of their flights from Montreal to Mexico City, Bogota, Colombia, Guatemala, and Peru down to between $331 and $353 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way, in Mexico City (except for the flights to Mexico City, which are non-stop flights).
As of November 1st, Peru is allowing international flights back into the country from certain cities, including Mexico City (MEX). It is *assumed* that this means Canadians will be allowed to enter if they're flying in on an Aeromexico flight, but Peru has yet to release an official statement. Visitors will be required to bring the result of a recent negative PCR test, performed no more than 72 hours before arrival.
Guatemala re-opened for Canadian tourists on September 18th. A negative PCR test result taken with 72 hours of departure is required.
Costa Rica is open, and does not require a recent negative test result for entry.
Colombia has re-opened for Canadian tourists (a negative test result is no longer required for entry).
Business class flights are available for about $230 more roundtrip.
Update: Aeromexico is suspending service from Canada until April 30th.
