Air China is showing a few flights from Montreal to Osaka, Japan for $687 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

The flights are in and out of Osaka's Kansai International Airport (KIX).

The flights have 1 stop each way, in Beijing, China.

The stop in Beijing on the way there is a 20 or 22 hour layover (5:25 PM to 4:05 PM).

On the way home, the stop in Beijing is for 90 minutes.

From Osaka, it's a 26 minute train ride ($17 CAD) to the beautiful city of Kyoto if you use the special high speed trains on the JR Kyoto Line.

There are also flights from Montreal to Nagoya, Japan (NGO) available for a similar price.
