The tricky part is finding ones with relatively decent flights. Look for the ones that involve about 12 hours of total travel time (including layovers) each way. There are still multiple stopovers each way, but it's actually fairly close to as fast as getting to Ketchikan can be done from Montreal.
The typical bottom price to get to Alaska from Montreal is about $800-$900 roundtrip after taxes.
It's also the off-season of course, as it doesn't get warmer in Alaska until June. It looks like the average high in April is 10C.
Looks like one of the most popular things to do around Ketchikan is kayaking.
