On Thursday, August 17th, Air China is going to be having another flash sale, this time from Montreal to Havana, Cuba for $299 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
These flights are non-stop both ways.
Air China's flash sales can sometimes be disappointing, especially from Montreal. Sometimes they don't put many dates on sale.
Availability for travel
August, September, October, first half of November
Here are the official dates from the Air China website:
* Travel period: August 18 to October 31, 2017 (outbound flight);
August 18 to to December 9, 2017 (inbound flight);
Maximum stay: 3 months).
How to find and book these flights
1. On the night of Thursday, August 17th go to the following Air China flash sale page...

NOTE: Air China usually releases theses fares around 3 AM EST. In other words, you would need to stay up really late on Thursday August 17th (or get up really early the morning of Friday August 18th, depending on how you want to think of it).
2. Scroll down to the bottom, where the 'Flight Search' box can be found.
3. Search for a flight from Montreal to Havana, Cuba (HAV)
TIP: The last time there was a similar sale, some people had trouble using their credit card with the default payment option on Air China's website.
The Air China website also allows you to choose Paypal as the credit card processor, and that seemed to work better. A Paypal account is not required.
You can also try registering for an account on the Air China website ahead of time. It might make things faster/easier when it comes time to book.

Update @ 7:30 PM EST - I am already starting to see these Air China flights from Montreal to Havana for $299 roundtrip show up on a few booking sites. Oddly, they are not yet appearing on the Air China website.

2. Search for a flight from Montreal to Havana, Cuba (HAV)
3. Try one of the following date combinations:

Aug 25 to Sep 2
Sep 1 to Sep 9 -- over Labour Day
Sep 8 to Sep 16
Sep 15 to Sep 23

Oct 6 to Oct 14 -- over Thanksgiving
Oct 13 to Oct 21
Oct 20 to Oct 28
Oct 27 to Nov 4
