Plattsburgh to Lima, Peru - $480 roundtrip after tax

Plattsburgh has some really cheap fares to Lima, Peru on Spirit Airlines.
The issue is though, none of them have decent flight times on the way there. They stopover in Fort Lauderdale at 9:50PM and then leave the next day from Fort Lauderdale at 5:15 PM, direct to Lima. That could work out alright if you have any interest in spending one night in Florida.
On the way home, the flights are quite good, direct to Fort Lauderdale, 3 hour layover, and then back to Plattsburgh.
Try May 11 to 19 for example, here's a screenshot from Orbitz:
I would say May/June is probably the best time to visit Machu Picchu.
From Montreal, the cheapest flights are around $900 roundtrip after tax.
