In a few days, Air China is going to be having yet another flash sale on their flights from Montreal to Shanghai, China for just $499 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
But this time around there are also going to be flights available from Montreal to Hong Kong for the same price.
Flights from Montreal to Guangzhou, China will also be available.
Sometimes these flights have an overnight layover in Beijing, although they have sometimes offered them in the past with just a 2 hour layover. We shall see.

May 2017
September, October, November, first half of December 2017
How to find and book these flights
1. On May 12th, go to the following Air China flash sale page...

NOTE: Air China usually releases theses fares around 3 AM EST. In other words, really late at night on May 11th (or really early morning on May 12th, depending on how you want to think of it).
2. Scroll down to the bottom, where the 'Flight Search' box can be found.
3. Search for a flight from Montreal to Shanghai, China (PVG) or Hong Kong (HKG)
Try dates in September, October, November and the first half of December 2017. Use flexible dates. They usually don't drop all of the dates down to the cheap price.
Update 5/12 - Here are the remaining dates for Montreal to Hong Kong for $499 CAD roundtrip including taxes that appear to have short layovers (other dates have overnight layovers in Beijing) ...
Sep 5 to Sep 17 or 21
Sep 9 to Sep 19 -- new! (1 seat left ?)
Sep 26 to Oct 12
